Visiting China for a supplier audit

We recently visited China to perform a Supplier Audit report, as part of the manufacturing support services offered to our customers.  Our agenda included visiting several manufacturing facilities that are currently supporting production for various projects.

The trip was arranged to inspect our selected production facilities, to ensure that the manufacturers are producing high and consistent levels of product quality, in addition to maintaining the standards expected by our clients.

As part of the trip, we were also checking that the facilities were operated ethically. During the audit we checked that the supplier offers fair labour practices, sustainable operations and adheres to local regulations.

Of course, the focus of the trip was on manufacturing support and quality assurance, but we were also lucky enough to enjoy some of the Chinese culture.  During the visit we took the opportunity to visit the sights, taste the cuisine and experience some of the daily traditions.
